Jack And The Beanstalk The Real Story 2001 Download ((EXCLUSIVE))
Jack learns that the story of Jack and the Beanstalk we know is distorted, warped and bias and is told the real story. The Giant, Thunderdell, was a kind and peaceful creature - in fact he was one of the nicest giants there ever was. He had a biological son named Bran and took Ondine in as his foster daughter. Ondine then showed Jack (the one being Jack's ancestor) where the goose and harp were kept. Later, Jack greedily betrayed Thunderdell's warm hospitality and friendship. He stole the goose and harp which were needed to keep the land green and alive (even as Thunderdell pleaded with him to give it back and promised him more golden eggs) - without it the land would die. Jack murdered the giant out of greed with no regard of the repercussions of his actions on the innocent and friendly people of the land in the clouds.

Jack and the Beanstalk was directed by Brian Henson as an alternative version of the an age old English based fairy tale. Henson put a considerably large amount of time and effort into editing the story to reflect what he believed and felt to be a humanist and more ethical view. The rich CEO of a large company, Jack Robinson, comes from a line of people where none of the males has lived to be over the young age of 40. Jack has dreams about an angry giant and his father. Siggy, the manager of Jack's business affairs, convinces Jack to turn away the projects revolving around alternative food supplies and genetically modified crops to feed those living in poverty or in third world countries. Instead of food projects, Siggy desires to focus on building a casino complex around an old, ancestral castle in a small, nearby town. A skeleton of a giant was found while constructing the casino. Odine, an unusual young woman enters the scene calls Jack a murderer and a thief then quickly disappeaers in a flash of light. The old woman loves story telling and shares the fairy tale Jack in the beanstalk in the traditional and original text. The original Jack was given five beans with all but one successfully growing into beanstalks. The fifth bean found its way into rocky soil which leads one to believe that the tale being told may not be the full truth, and that the answers he searches for about recent events may be found on the other side of the giant beanstalk.

Truthfully, this movie made me feel like I was 12 again watching classics such as Dark Crystal or The Never Ending Story. It even had some Terry Gilliam mixed in which, I enjoyed. I am also a huge fan of the story, Jack and the Beanstalk. I like seeing movies that get the kids involved, climbing on the couch which, is the beanstalk at home. We all had fun with the film. It was nice to see Chevy Chase doing what he does best again.I'm not saying it's going to be a classic but it was certainly better than I expected. The director Gary J. Tunnicliffe did a good job trying to make an old fashion feeling kids film. For this being Collin Fords (who plays Jack) first film, he did a great job and really enjoyed him.Give it a chance. I agree to the kids will like it more than adults.
